Import a video of a vehicle: our mechanic-trained AI transcribes the customer's words and analyzes the actual engine sounds to support diagnostics.
ChatMecano is launching today a new feature that many mechanics and service advisors have been asking for: direct video import inside the app, with a full analysis by our mechanic-trained AI. The customer films the issue in their driveway, the service advisor films a knock during a road test, or the technician captures an engine sound at idle in the bay — everything now goes through the same feature.
Instead of just transcribing audio like a generic tool, ChatMecano does two things in parallel. First, the AI transcribes whatever the customer or the technician says and extracts the symptoms described in plain language ("it ticks when I turn right", "the engine struggles on a cold start"). Second — and this is the most important part — the AI also analyzes the engine sounds themselves: ticks, knocks, pulley whine, bearing rumble, misfires, exhaust noise — and suggests likely diagnostic paths.
Combined with the full per-vehicle history launched in the June 2026 release, video analysis turns into a real multimedia file: the video itself, the speech transcript, the engine-sound analysis, the OBD2 Check Engine codes read through the ChatMecano Bluetooth connector, and the AI recommendations are all stored under the same vehicle, ready to reopen at the next customer visit.
