Upload a video of any vehicle and ChatMecano's automotive-trained AI transcribes the customer's description and analyzes the actual engine noise to support the diagnosis.
Starting today, ChatMecano supports something a lot of technicians and service advisors have been asking for: uploading a video straight into the app for a full breakdown by our automotive-trained AI. A customer records the noise in their driveway, an advisor captures a rattle during a test drive, or a tech records an idle noise on the lift, and all of it now runs through the same tool.
Rather than just transcribing the audio like a generic app would, ChatMecano does two things at once. First, it transcribes whatever the customer or technician says and pulls out the symptoms in everyday language, things like 'it rattles when I turn right' or 'it struggles to start when it's cold.' Second, and this is the bigger deal, the AI also listens to the actual engine sounds: rattles, knocks, a whining pulley, a rumbling bearing, a misfire, or an exhaust leak, and suggests likely causes.
Combine that with the full per-vehicle history from the June 2026 release, and video analysis becomes part of a real multimedia record: the video itself, the transcript, the sound analysis, the Check Engine DTCs read through the ChatMecano Bluetooth connector, and the AI's recommendations, all filed under the same vehicle and ready the next time that customer shows up.
This feature is part of the Pro plan and it's live right now, no update to install. Try it free, no credit card required, right from your phone.
